BBQ Pulled Pork Cinnamon Roll

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 5 to 6 hours (HIGH) or 8 to 9 hours (LOW) + 35 minutes

Servings: 6 (with leftover pulled pork)

Ingredients

  • 1 4-5 lb
    Good Nature® Bone-In Pork Butt
  • 1 tbsp
    kosher salt & freshly ground pepper
  • 2 cups
    bbq sauce, divided
  • 4 cups
    chicken stock
  • 1 medium
    yellow onion, diced
  • 6 tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 2 tbsp
    sugar
  • 12-16 oz
    pre-made pizza dough

Pat pork dry with paper towels and rub with plenty of salt and pepper. Place roast in slow cooker and add 1 ½ cups BBQ sauce, chicken stock, and onion. Cook on HIGH for 5 to 6 hours or on LOW for 8 to 9 hours or until meat is fork tender. Remove pork from liquid and shred.
Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a small bowl, combine butter, cinnamon, and sugar. Unroll pizza dough and brush top side with cinnamon sugar mixture. Top dough with ¼ – ½” of pulled pork and roll dough length wise. Cut into 1 ½” thick medallions (about 9 rolls) and place them in a buttered 9” x 13” baking dish. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven and top with more pulled pork and BBQ sauce, serve, and enjoy.
